The Head Office of the State Archives
The Head Office of the State Archives (NDAP) – is the principal government agency responsible for the State archives in Poland and comes under the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
One of the NDAP’s statutory obligations is care of archival collections of Polish provenance outside Poland. In terms of work with PUMST, the NDAP acts mainly as a co-ordinator of projects carried out by PUMST. It administers the finances for specific projects, provides logistical support and assigns staff from archival branches. In addition, it co-ordinates and delivers free orders of archival materials.
