Volume IV was published in 1977, with the largest collection of 510 documents from August to October 1944. It covers the whole period of preparation for the uprising, demands for arms and ammunition; daily reports of bloody fights on the streets of Warsaw and eventual capitulation ending in last command by Bór – Komorowski given to all soldiers of the Home Army.
